QualityLogic's Application Test Suites (ATS) for page description languages, mark-up languages, and portable document formats use real-world test files developed using popular applications to exercise all printable or viewable features of each application. View Application Lists.
ATS's are available for all of the most popular languages including HP PCL, Adobe PostScript and PDF, and Microsoft XPS.
Beginning with the Application Test Intermediate File (ATS-IF), raw data files created by an application software package, such as Word's .doc files or Excel's .xls files, we "capture" these files as PCL or PS files, or "publish" the files in PDF or XPS form.
After a thorough review of each application, we generate a test specification that defines all features to be targeted for testing. There are three types of files developed for each application: progressive files, robust files, and mechanical files.
TestJob Sender , an automation solution included with each ATS, manages the flow of test files to your target platform. Available TestJob Sender options automate key tasks like performance measurement, cycling the power on hardware, and test scheduling and reporting.
TestJob Builder , another automation tool, is available as an option for most ATSs. TestJob Builder lets you to select test cases from a database of key attributes using a powerful search engine, targeting your testing and cutting test time.
